Stacy Bannerman, MFA, writes female-forward, socially relevant and spiritually informed screenplays and a super sassy Adult Animated TV Sitcom Pilot, BAMBO GOES POSTAL, #16 on Coverfly's The Red List. Her high-concept family sports drama, WRESTLE LIKE A GIRL, the actual account of the first girl to wrestle on a boys’ team under the federal law, is a 2024 The Writers Lab SemiFinalist. Stacy has a non-exclusive shopping agreement with an established Director for her antiwar drama, THE FREEDOM MEDAL, featuring a strong, over-40 female lead in a true story about the war at home, the transformational healing power of the horse and the resurrection of the human spirit. She is currently working on an unscripted reality docu-series hybrid as well as ECO TRIP, an environmental dramedy/female buddy film.
